On the 24th of September 1906, the First Baptist Church (SBC) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma had its official start and we have been blessed to have been used by God to minister in this community ever since this humble beginning. By December of 1908, not having a pastor for the past year, Brother Hedrick came to our assistance and held a series of meetings during which there were 16 additions to the church. Six joined by letter, 1 by restoration, and nine by experience and baptism.

In over a century of ministry through the valleys and mountaintops of life to hundreds of families over time, our core desire to reach and minister to the spiritual well-being of our community through lovingly presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ has never changed. Today, we are a local body of believers united in faith and hope in the work set before us until our Savior returns. Today, just like in 1908, we need revival in our own hearts and in the community to reach all with the only truth able to set all men free. Today, we strive to be the Bible-Based. Christ-Centered, Spirit-Led ministry that makes a difference in our lives and yours.
